I started programming when I was 18 years old. I bought an assembly set of Sinclair’s ZX81. With this computer, I began with BASIC, also building hardware extensions and programming them in assembler.

Later, I worked with a CP/M machine with BASIC and Turbo Pascal. Wow!

I bought my first PC in 1989. 8088 with 640kB RAM, a monochrome monitor, 20MB HDD, MSDOS 3.3, and Turbo Pascal.

During my time at the university, I also came into contact with Fortran and Cobol, and of course with C and C++.
